Our Ensembles


Ensembles are collaborative courses designed to provide meaningful experiences, deepen understanding of the arts, enrich, and inspire as well as develop musical skills. Ensembles are available to all students for credit. Some ensembles require permission of the instructor for participation, while other ensembles are open to all students. On a selective and competitive basis, students may be awarded an ensemble scholarship. For more information regarding ensembles scholarships, visit Scholarships & Aid.

USC Aiken Music offers the following ensembles for credit:

  • Canticum Novum*
  • "Pacer Pulse" Athletic Band
  • Percussion Ensemble
  • USC Aiken Concert Choir
  • USC Aiken Jazz Ensemble*
  • USC Aiken Wind Ensemble

There are a number of chamber music opportunities coordinated by USC Aiken applied music faculty and students. These opportunities include:

  • Brass quintet*
  • Jazz combo*
  • Music theatre/Opera scenes workshop*
  • Saxophone quartet*
  • Voices of Praise Gospel Choir
