Scholarships & Aid

We offer a number of competitive, talent and need based scholarships to incoming freshmen and college transfer students on the basis of competitive auditions. Though priority is given to students intending to major in music, talented non-majors planning to participate in large ensembles and private lessons are eligible for a limited number of ensemble scholarships. Scholarships are renewable annually if academic and music criteria are maintained. Notification of scholarship award or of acceptance as an intended major is contingent upon admission to USC Aiken.

Music Scholarship Application Form

Apply for Aid

To be considered for any need-based financial assistance, you must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Financial aid packages usually have a combination of federal and state grants and loans. Be sure to review the deadlines for these forms.

Many students also apply for scholarships administered by agencies and organizations outside of USC Aiken by using online resources like Fastweb, FinAid, and the College Board.
